Worle Kids

This is a picture of all my brothers and my sister. There are six of us. Sean is the oldest (in the purple), then Danielle, Gilbert(in blue), me, Clinton (in black), and Peter (in white and pink).
We have not all been together for a quite a while (not long enough for a picture at least!). It was fun to see everyone.
These are my favorite things about my siblings:
Sean: He is so talented, in my mind he can do anything. He knows computer and music, he is my new computer tech--I told him he gets a raise 100% of what I am already paying him! :)
Danielle: She has always been there for me for the 'girl talk'. My love her just as much as they love me, Aliya and Addy get the same excited look in their eyes when they see her.
Gilbert: he has always had the best sense of humor, he always makes me laugh. He is also one of the most responsible people I know.
Clinton: He is very smart and he is the best conversationalist. I could talk to him for hours about any subject, that is my favorite pastime with him. He is also one of the sweetest people with the kindest heart. All the little kids flock to him.
Peter: He is the most carefree person I know. He knows how to have fun, and is fun to be around. He is very talented musically with all insrtuments and has a great voice.
I Love you guys!

Young Women's Hair Activity!

This was my activity. I was in charge of the combined YW activity and I have a great friend in another ward that did this actvity with their girls, she suggested this tome and it was great! (Thanks Natalie!) The girls had a great time and it was fun to show off the crazy hairdos we received! And bestof all it was free! The hair school does it for their students to get experience doing hair and for advertisment! Check with a hair school in your area, it is worth it!

Adleyn on the 4-wheeer

We went to a picnic for Derik's work and his boss's daughter took Addy on a ride, she loved it and she came back to tell us that 'I didn't even fall in the water!'. I guess that they rode by a canal and the other little girl was scared that they would fall and Addy made it clear that they would not. She is usually not the brave one, but I was impressed with her this time!

Adelyn's Pictures!

I was doing Adelyn's hair for my little brother's wedding and I really needed her to cooperate, so I let her play with the camera. She took about 25 pictures most of her toes, but these are of Aliya and they turned out really cute! Here is my little photographer!

Feeding the Duckies!!

This was a couple of weeks ago, after church one sunday we decided to go down to the river and fee the ducks. Adelyn was really excited and she had a great time. She keeps asking when we are going back! We alo got a pretty cute picture with the temple in the background!

Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Adelyn plays hide and seek and when she is ready she will yell "come found me MAMA I in the Chair!"

When Adelyn wants her sippy cup filled she will say "I need the sippy at the top of the Mountain"

When I asked Adelyn to do something she doesn't want to do do she says "I can't want to MAMA"

6/10/08 It was Derik's Birthday and we were taking him his birthday ballon. It was a really mindy day and the wind took the ballon right out of the car and Adelyn was really upset. Later that day she saw an airplane and the light just went on she said "we can get the balloon, mommy. Daddy can get in the airplane and go get the balloon!"

6/27/08 We were looking for a little toy of Adelyn's that we left in the car and I could not find it. She immediately told me that "Daddy can find it he has really big eyes!"

6/08 Anytime something breaks Adelyn tells me "it is okay daddy can fix it!" she loves her daddy!

6/30/08 After a long day with my two great girls I thought that I might srangle Adelyn and her constant demands. I was running upstairs for the 100th time and as I came back down Adelyn yelled "lookin good mama!" i don't know who she heard this from but it made me laugh and remember why I love to be a mommy!

9/29/08 I was showing Adleyn a picture of Derik and I when we graduated with our bachlors degrees. I was seven months pregnant with her and was showing her that she was in my belly. She being very smart said "and Aliya is in Daddy's belly!" LOVE IT!!

10/03/08 We often go out to the bus stop to send our neighbor girl off to school. Adelyn really wants to ride the bus and I told her that she will have to grow bigger. She now tells everyone that she is "going to grow big as a bus!!!"

11/08 My Sister-in-Law has been trying to get pregnant for about five years now and just found out that she finally is!! Anyway when she told us we were hopping up and down and making a big deal about it. Aldeyn went to preschool the next monday and they were talking about what they were thankful for and Addy said "I thankful that my Mom is going to have a baby!" We had to have a talk about who was really having the baby... it was really funny!

3-08-10 Adelyn asked me today if Giraffe's die. I told her yes, everything dies eventually. She said "do people die too?" Yes they do. "I don't want to die!" You won't until your really old. "Are you going to die before me" Most likely. "Where will I live then" She was starting to get upset at this whole concept. We had a big long talk about death and I tried to ease her fears...it is hard to explain complex things to kids!
